3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Jesus, seeing that he had become sad, said, “How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!
From the biblical verses above, one can see that God wants us to prosper and not to be poor.
He only does not want us to love money above Him becuase this can led to our eternal condemnation.
Do not love money to the point of doing anything wrong for it. Don't steal, defraud, kill or the likes for the sake of money.
Trust in God, put Him first, work smart and God will bless you abundantly.
Our works shall be blessed in all areas of life in Jesus name.
