Matthew 10:38
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
For everyone that believed that Jesus died, resurrected, still coming back and he is the one that can meet all our needs, we need to follow him.
For anyone that wants to follow Christ, two things is required
1) To deny ourselves.
2) To take up our cross daily.
To fullfil the first part, we need to put God first above self-will in all our decisions
For the daily cross, we need to obey God's commandment (winning souls) continuously without shame of the gospel.
If you are not obeying these two factors, we are not ready for the benefits of following Christ.
What stage are you?
O God grant us grace to receive strength to follow you till the end in Jesus name.
