Avoid Evil

1 Peter 3:10
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Our heavenly father can not behold sin, that is why the above verse is asking us to avoid sin and all factors pointing to sin.

Avoid all the works of the flesh and the things leading to sin.

We should not be comfortable with anyone that will see nothing wrong with the works of the flesh.

If we get too close and comfortable with such, we might end up like that.

Adultery might have started with little comfort in ponographic pictures.

For our joy to be full in the Lord (source of eternal joy), we are to follow righteousness, avoid sin and all relating to sin.

May the Lord grant us the grace to drive closer to righteousness that we may enjoy unlimited joy in Jesus name.
