2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
This is an advice for us all to always check
1) Ourselves,
2) The works we do,
3) The motive/intension of our actions and
4) The thinkings that runs through our minds.
We should check this alongside the truth of the words of God.
This is not expected to prove us holy but to always help us move closer to God in holiness.
Let us do this all the time that we might work out our salvation by the grace received from Christ Jesus (through the death on the cross).
May His grace be sufficient for us all through the journey of life that we might make it home with lots of harvested souls in Jesus name.
