1 Timothy 2:8
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
When we go before God with our hands lifted, it is a symbolic way of saying, "Lord I trust you totally with my life" and this will always get God's attention.
Moses at the Red Sea lifted up his hands in obedience to God's commanded and that was the end of the enemies.
Anytime we lift up our hands to God, we are showing our reliance and total dependence on Him.
Life requires more than ordinary human effort to succeed, we all need the divine support of the Almighty God.
Every other thing may fail, but the promises of God will never fail.
Let us put our total and absolute trust in God.
We must also be willing to engage our hands in doing things that are pleasing to God. When we serve a man of God with our hands, we are automatically transferring grace to yourself.
Father, as we present our hands to You, let every dead thing our hands touch begin to receive life in Jesus name.
You know I love you and God loves you much more.
