WHEN GENTLENESS IS MISAPPLIED

Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Gentleness and meekness are fruit of the Spirit which must be found in a child of God.

However, this must not be applied at certain levels of operation.

Such operations include fight against the satanic world and the sinful will of the flesh.

The enemy (Satan) is constantly waging war against the children of light.

Thank God for the victory at Calvary. We are still meant to be strong and violent to claim our victory.

On the other hand, our flesh is always craving for pleasure but the spirit man in us wants God's will done.

The body wants more sleep while the spirit wants prayer.
Too much sleep brings poverty while prayer connects us to God.

Seek God, be violent against the devil and do not take it easy on the flesh.

Satan is to be resisted (James 4:7) and demons must be casted out (Mark 16:17).

Satisfy God, not man or the enemy.

Father, help us never to tolerate nonsense from the devil and his cohorts, but to always deal with them as you commanded in Jesus’ Name.

You know I love you and God loves you much more
