As Children, obey your parents in the Lord

Eph 6:1 - Eph 6:3
1, Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2, Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

3,That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Let parents remember that all the children the Lord has given unto us are God's heritage, we are only care takers.

As parents, you have been given the instruction to guide them in the way of God and not just for your selfish interest.

As children, you are to obey the parents in the Lord and biological parents according to the commandments of God.

This is when you can enjoy the promises attached to it.

Remember Proverbs 17:25 says:
A foolish son is a grief to his father,
and bitterness to her that bare him.

I pray that we will be a source of joy to our parents and our kids will bring us joy too in Jesus name.
