Do the right thing for the right purpose

Happy new month,

Matthew 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

I agree that this verse deals also with the intent of the heart.

What ever we find ourselves doing, always ask what is my real reason of doing this?

Is my reason thesame with what God demand from me?

Or am I doing it that men might see?

This could happen in the church (when men act that others might see them).

It could happen at work (doing things that the boss might see).

Even in school, families and society at large.

Lets note that for such will man get no reward or blessings from God.

For our blessings to be full from God, lets us always do the right thing for the right purpose.

I pray the devils, demons and even ourselves will not throw away our blessings in Jesus name.

You know I love you and God loves you much more.
